Write reports, adverts and poems all on the theme of identity and express your opinions, views and beliefs. Do you like the same things as others or are your tastes uniquely yours?

Then it's time for some detective work! in the case of the stolen handbag, use your knowledge and skills to solve the crime and identify the culprit.

Mountain Biking Competition

During Tuesday afternoon, Shane, Madley, Maddie and Pippa took part in a Mountain Biking competition at Wyedean School. The children worked well as part of a team, finishing 4th overall.

A huge thank you to Dan Lewis for supporting them at the event and also to Ingrid and Faye for helping with transport. It really is appreciated!

Learning Characters

With the SATs finally over, the Year 6s were given a project to do during the last week of term. The children had to research, draw and then design their own learning characters for the School.

The children have created their learning characters out of clay, they look superb! Well done all!

Poetry

Hockney class were in for a surprise on Tuesday 22nd May, when poet Annie Cavill came into the class, reading some of her very own poems, before helping the children create theirs.

The children had a brilliant time, writing lots of entries for the Poetry competition at Mitcheldean Festival, which takes place in a month's time! Well done all!
