'Gallery Rebels'

Colours collide, melting together on the canvas: an impression of light, a rage of red, a lobster perched on a telephone...Come and find out about the bizarre and eccentric minds of the gallery rebels!

Art can be an act of rebellion. Can you change the world with a paintbrush, a thought, or an idea?

Dream the dream - or show us your nightmares! What do you see? Watches melting? Wheels spinning? A shark in a box? Can you express yourself without words? Well, a picture paints a thousand of them!

Try your hand at a 'Damien Hirst' sculpture, exploring the weird and wonderful to create a curious treasure from the next generation.

Take up your arms and fight for the cause... Paintbrushes and sketch books at the ready - let's make art!

Internet Safety

On Thursday afternoon the year 6 children visited Blakeney School where they were treated to an Internet safety session. The children learnt about how to stay safe online and also looked at the age rating of online games.

It was a worthwhile experience and the children picked up some valuable tips.

A special thank you to Gloucestershire Police for coming in to do the talk. Well done all involved!

Natural Collages

Well done to some of the year 4/5 children who have made natural collages as part of our topic on 'Gallery Rebels'.

A super effort to all involved!

Reading Project

Some of the year 6 children are taking part in a reading project to to help develop comprehension understanding.

The children have been reading 'Iron Man' over the past few weeks and are really enjoying it.

Keep up the good work

Soudley Football

Some of the Year 5 and 6 boys took part in their first football match of the year against Soudley School. The children played really well, in awful weather conditions, winning 6-0.

The goalscorers were Cody (2) Archie (2) Liam and Warren. Also a special mention to Tyler, who made some wonderful saves in goal.

Well done everyone and a special thank you to those parents who came to watch!
