Our Topic this term is
'Blood Heart'

Crimson, scarlet, burgundy, cherry... blood flows through our bodies in all its vibrant shades of red. Let's explore our circulation system! Now surgeons, done be squeamish as we dissect an animal heat and examine the veins, arteries and chambers up close. They all work hard to move blood around out bodies.

William Harvey was fascinated with anatomy and made groundbreaking discoveries about valves. I wonder what we might uncover?

Mountain Biking Competition

Well done to Summer, Abi, Archie and Tyler K who managed to finish in 2nd place in the Mountain Biking competition at Wyedean School.

It was a great achievement with 8 teams taking part. Great work!



Mini Marines 1

It was the first session of Mini Marines for Hockney class. The children got to meet their new Marine for the term Dan.

He spoke to the children about confidence and respect before taking the children up to the field to do a range of teamwork activities!



KNEX Challenge

Well done to Cody and George for finishing 3rd in the KNEX challenge final this week.

There were roughly 100 Schools taking part, a great achievement boys!
