Christmas Cards

After finally returning from the Snow days, the children were busy at work, designing their Christmas cards to send to their parents! The children created a Christmas tree and decorated it in pom-poms, gems and sequins.

The children did a great job! Well done everybody!

Father Christmas

With the run up to Christmas coming quickly, Hockney class had a special visitor at School on Thursday!

The children got the chance to meet Father Christmas, fortunately all of the children were on the 'good list' and received a lovely present!

Sports Hall Athletics

On Tuesday morning, 5th December, half of Hockney class took part in the Forest of Dean Sports Hall Athletics competition at Dene Magna.

The children had a brilliant time and took part in a range of Sporting events including: relays, javelin, chest throws, standing, triple jump and speed bouncing. The team finished 8th out of 10 teams overall.

Thank you to all the parents that helped transport and watch the children, we couldn't have done it without you! A great effort!

Internet Safety

The children of Hockney Class were in for a surprise, when a local Police Officer visited the class to do a talk on Internet Safety.

The children were warned of the danger of the Internet and possible ways they could stay safe when 'online'. The children also watched a video clip of the risks of the Internet, asking some thoughtful and interesting questions!

A very worthwhile experience!
