Our Topic this term is
'Allotment'

Let's grow! A crispy carrot, a luscious lettuce or a tasty tomato. Dig deep and put your back into it, making your own tubs and planters and nurturing your greens.

Harvest your cops and make soups and dishes of seasonal foods that taste delicious. Learn about farms and where food comes from, writing reports on world wide produce.

Discover which allotments are closest to your school, and open the door to the secret garden.

Then establish your own farmers' market, harvesting your crops and selling local produce. Include garden crafts and work out your prices, be sure to make a profit not a loss!

After all that hard work have your fingers gone green?

Mother's Day Cards

The children of Hockney class have been busy making Mother's day cards ahead of the big day on Sunday.

The children used a range of wrapping paper to design their vase, painting on the stems and petals of their flowers.

Great work everyone!

Newnham Football

Well done to the boys' football team who continued their unbeaten season with a fine 2-0 win over Newnham School.

The children were superb with Archie and Alex managing to get the goals!

The children got to see a range of birds, with some of the children even lucky enough to hold them.

A great time was had by all!
