On Thursday, the children of Hockney class and the Year 6s from Walmore Hill had a great time taking part in Den Building.
The children were split up into groups and had to work well as part of a team, creating dens in the nearby Forest.
The children worked really well together and had a great time! Fantastic effort everyone!
On Monday 18th June, the Year 5 children went to Dean Academy for a taster day. They got to take part in Science, Maths and Cooking. The children had a fantastic time and were a true credit to the School.
Sadly, none of the children gave Mr Forster any pizza that they had made. Well done all!
It was a lovely end to the first week back in School, as the Year 6 children from Pillowell, Blakeney and Walmore Hill took part in Battlesports!
The children were split up into two teams, (Red and Blue) with the Red team winning by the narrowest of margins 4-3. After this we had lunch, before venturing up to Beechenhurst, where the children explored the adventure playground and were treated to an ice cream!
The children were superbly behaved and a true joy to take! Well done all!
On Friday 15th June, Hockney Class had a special visit to the Three Counties Show. The weather was beautiful and the children had a fantastic time, looking at different farm animals, watching Horse racing, exploring the different stalls and eating Ice cream!
A huge thank you to Caroline and Ingrid, who helped out on the trip! A great time was had by all! Well done!
