During mini Marines this week the children were busy looking at equipment they would take with them, exploring food rationing and what they would need to survive. They even managed to cook up some food and taste it.
There was a big surprise in store, as a smoke grenade was used! Well done everybody!
Hockney class had a lovely Chemistry workshop as part of the STEM project.
The children looked at the periodic tables, took part in a really cool experiment and looked at different metals.
Well done to Joseph, Sofia and Lilly W, who were all chosen to visit their factory next week for a guided tour! Great work everyone!
It was that time of year again, the prestigious Blakwell Cup. Well done to the football team, who managed to beat Blakeney 2-1.
The scorers were Archie G and Cody. Also a special mention to our goalkeeper Tyler, who pulled off some spectacular saves!
The cup has been retained for the 2nd year in a row!
The children made the most of the nice weather, by going outside this week in Mini marines.
The children discussed bullying and took part in some physical activity!
On Thursday, as a reward for all of their hard work this year, the Year 6 children took part in Battlesports. The children split up into two teams and completed several games of laser tag, with the Blakeney and Walmore Hill children.
After this, the children then went to Beechenhurst where they had an ice-cream and played on the outdoor area. A lovely day was had by all!
