From your fingerprints and footprints, genes and DNA, everything is unique to you. So why do you look like Mum or Dad.... or even Auntie Rose?

Explore the world of human identity and how unique features can be used to tell us apart from others or help to solve a crime!

Write reports, adverts and poems all on the theme of identity and express your opinions, views and beliefs. Do you like the same things as others or are your tastes uniquely yours?

Then it's time for some detective work! in the case of the stolen handbag, use your knowledge and skills to solve the crime and identify the culprit.

And remember to love being you... Why? Because there's only one you: you're one of a kind!

Residential Assembly

On Friday 27th April, Hockney class presented a Residential Assembly to their parents.

The children talked about their memories of Residential, including: Big Pit, Rooms, Bingo, Horse Riding, Climbing, Mountain Walking and Problem Solving.

The children were an absolute joy to take away on the Residential and a great time was had by both children and staff.

Well done Hockney class!



Life Education Bus:

The children of Hockney class had a lovely visit from the Life Education Bus on Tuesday Afternoon. The children got to learn about the dangers of drugs, smoking and alcohol.

They even got to listen to a song by Harrold! Well done everyone!



Writing Workshop

Every Wednesday afternoon, the Year 6 children of both Pillowell and Blakeney work together during a writing workshop with Mrs Tomkins.

The children were focusing on information texts this week, always giving 100% effort! Well done all!
