Father Christmas

Unfortunately, the children were unable to see Father Christmas in person this year. However, they did get chance to meet him 'virtually'. The children really enjoyed it and were surprised with just how much Father Christmas knew about the class elf 'Dumble'

With the end of 2020 fast approaching, Hockney class were busy creating their calendars ready for 2021! The children designed calendars which represented the four seasons. They look fantastic!

Christmas Walk

The children enjoyed a wonderful Christmas walk this morning. They were very lucky and managed to find some evidence of where the Elves had been in the woods!

Usually at this time of year, we visit the Everyman Theatre in Cardiff to watch a Pantomime. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to do this, but we watched a virtual 'Jack and Beanstalk' Pantomime in our classroom instead! The children really enjoyed it, especially when the popcorn and crisps arrived!

Sorting Cards

Some of the Year 6 children were given the responsible task of sorting all the Christmas cards into bundles for every child in every class. The children did a fantastic job and they are now ready to be handed out to the children on Friday!

Christmas Party

It was Christmas party day this afternoon and the children had a wonderful time playing musical chairs and musical statues!

Christmas Jumper Day

To celebrate Christmas jumper day, the children wore their favourite Christmas jumpers to school on Friday, to raise money for the 'Save the Children' charity.

Great effort all!

Police Talk

Hockney class had a special visit from PC Peters today. He spoke to the children about Online Safety and how to remain safe when playing online. Well done all!

Hockney class have been getting into the Christmas spirit by creating Christingles. The children began by wrapping the red ribbon, then placing the sweets on the cocktail sticks and then completing the Christingle by adding the candle!

Great work all!
