Our focus this term is...
"How life has changed in Britain since 1948"
Cycle Training
During this week, the Year 6 children are taking part in Cycle Training.
The children will first of all, focus on moving safely and listening to instructions on the playground, before venturing outside of school to learn how to ride safely on the road, using hand signals and sensible stopping procedures.
Static Electricity
As part of Science this term, Hockney Class have been looking at static electricity. Today, we took part in an investigation, involving balloons, salt and pepper.
After rubbing the balloons onto our clothing, we found that it attracted the pepper onto the balloon.
It was very enjoyable!
