The Year 5 children had a lovely morning taking part in a PE tournament at The Dean Academy.
The children took part in Football, Netball and Hockney against two other local primary schools.
They even got chance to eat some doughnuts!
Well done all and a huge thanks to Mrs Peake for attending with the children!
Hockney Class are heading towards Christmas. What will the class Elf do this year? 🎄 🎅 🤶
It was one of the most iconic moments of the year for Hockney Class, as they took part in the KNEX Challenge. Mo Follis, associated with the Renishaw company, came into school and delivered the session.
The children needed to design a vehicle, that was able to recycle different materials.
Well done to Alby and Jake, who were the winning pair and will represent Pillowell School at the Gloucestershire finals! It was a great morning!
The fun continued this week in Hockney Class, where they got to watch a Falcon show in the school hall. The children were introduced to lots of different birds: a Barn Owl, a Harris Hawk, a Saker Falcon and a Long Eared Owl.
The children had a fantastic time, asking lots of really inquisitive questions. Well done all!
