Sports Hall Athletics
The children had a great morning at Dene Magna School, where they took part in Sports Hall Athletics, against other local Primary schools.
The children took part in lots of activities: running relay, obstacle race, chest push, javelin, vertical jump, triple jump, long jump and speed bounce.
We finished 7th out of 9 teams. Well done all involved!
Reading Buddies
It was the first time of the year, that Year 6 paired up with their reading buddies from Lowry Class.
The Year 6 children read to the reception children today, but as time goes on, hopefully reception will also read to Year 6.
Well done all!
Bream Football Match
The children had their first football match of the school term, with a derby match against Bream School.
The children did really well, narrowly losing 6-3 and showing impeccably behaviour at all times. The scorers were Seth, Archie and Harry L.
We look forward to another game against Bream in the new year! Well done all!
