Bream Football Match

The children had their first football match of the school term, with a derby match against Bream School.

The children did really well, narrowly losing 6-3 and showing impeccably behaviour at all times. The scorers were Seth, Archie and Harry L.

We look forward to another game against Bream in the new year! Well done all!

Cheltenham Literature Festival

Hockney Class had a wonderful trip to the Cheltenham Literature Festival, where they got chance to see a famous author called Emma Carroll. She talked about her childhood, before also reading extracts from a range of her books.

After this, the children got chance to buy a book and get it signed by Emma Carroll.

A great day was had by all!

Sam's Story

On Monday, the children were in for a treat, as Miss Haagen took the class. As part of English, the children took part in a 'Big Write'. The challenge was to write a story of a character inspired by a 'dream car'.

Here is Sam's wonderful, talented story. Well done, Sam, we are really proud of you!
